Doing this work has never been about the perfect photos for my Instagram feed or building up my portfolio. It’s always been about the people.

There are so many things about photography that I love.

Being in awe of how light filters through the trees— letting us know that magic is real. Helping people feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the lens. Preserving a moment in time. Getting film scans back and it feeling like Christmas morning.

But the thing I love most is that it has nothing to do with me. Every time I photograph someone, I get to create a memory for them and make something tangible to represent them forever.

So if I have the absolute joy of photographing you, it will be all about you, from beginning to end.

    I use U.S.-based print labs, recycle film canisters, and work with film labs that prioritize sustainable processes. The Earth deserves our respect.

    Black lives matter. Love is love. All sexual orientations, all body sizes, all abilities, all love stories are welcome here. There is no “right” way to look, love, move, or exist in front of my camera.

I live in the heart of Virginia where I bought a home about 30 seconds down the road from my parents. What can I say? I love home. I thrift 99% of everything I own, dream about owning an animal rescue, and host moon circles with other local witches. I always have a sarcastic joke (or 17) in my back pocket, I will definitely ask you what your sun sign is while talking about my plant babies, and I love to walk naked through the forest. Surprised? I got lots more to tell ya.
