When Serena and I touched base last summer, I was instantly excited because she told me that her colors were blue, and her theme was vintage!! Of course I knew that we were going to be a great fit. I first met Serena when I did her bridal portraits at King Family Vineyards! (Blog post coming sooon!!) Those were breathtaking, as you can imagine.
I expected the weather to be iffy with the wedding date being in late March. But we were so lucky to have one of the sunniest day so far this year!! They got perfect golden hour portraits, and I could not be happier 🙂
Serena and Max met about eight years ago, but didn’t make it official until 2015! He proposed when they were in Charleston about to go on a cruise to the Bahamas!! How romantic! Serena said that he had asked someone to take their photo, and before she knew it, he was down on one knee! They opted to not have an engagement session, so I was very curious to see how we would work together. They. Were. Perfect. Max was an absolute gentleman throughout the whole process, and he knew exactly what to do to put a smile on Serena’s face! I found myself directing less than usual, because they were so naturally cute together.
I hope you enjoy this gorgeous vintage spring Blackstone wedding!!
